When we started Tanda in 2012, we set out to make it easier to be an employer in Australia and New Zealand.

We found it frustrating that there are so many rules you need to follow when employing someone. The truth is - there are too many rules, and those rules are strangling industry.

Initially, we focused on streamlining complex compliance rules in Australia, particularly around the Modern Awards system.

After a decade in business, we developed payroll and HR into the same code base to create a genuine all-in-one solution. Launching originally in Australia, and then in New Zealand, Tanda’s all-in-one has reduced the number of systems required to employ staff.

Today, Tanda remains an independent vendor. We are not owned by a private equity firm, and we are not an amalgamation of smaller software companies. We have no investors looking to make a quick buck. Instead, we are focused on enhancing our software capabilities and making long-term decisions. We are committed to another decade of product enhancements for our customers.

We are proud that we are now able to offer the most feature-complete solution for Kiwi employers. We believe the choice is simple - if you have hourly employees, you should be using Tanda.
