About Decimal

Steven Blaine has seen hospitality from all angles—first as a licensee and general manager, then on the supply side working as a liquor wholesaler while running the books part time. Bookkeeping started as a favour for his family’s venue back in Queensland, but quickly grew into something more. 

In 2022, he launched Decimal, a financial services business built specifically for hospitality. Today, it supports venues across WA with bookkeeping, payroll, reporting, and tech stack advisory, with a clear goal to help venues run more profitably with less effort.

As Steve puts it, “The whole thing just works really effectively, and for venues that have more complex reporting requirements…you can automate all of that.”
